The bottom line for West Park's Vacation Bible
School is that God was at work in a huge way!
During the week, 51 children made first time
commitments to Jesus. Another 65 youngsters, including a crew leader,
re-dedicated their lives to Him.
A 1999 Barna Survey found that children
between the ages of 5 and 13 are most likely to accept Jesus as their
savior. And then the survey shows that almost 50 percent of
born-again Christians in the United Sates made their decision for Christ
before they became teenagers!
Vacation Bible Schools are a tremendous way for churches to reach children
and for one week in August, it was clear that God was at work in a church
in Southern New Jersey. |
