Our Missions Committee

The goal of the West Park United Methodist Church Missions Committee is to spread the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and assist others in doing so.

Mission Trip To Accuna, Mexico

In February of 2005, West Park United Methodist went on a missions trip to help the New Fountain of Life Ministry in Accuna, Mexico.  They did a lot of work, including the installation of a heating system, and also had a lot of fellowship.

You are invited to view a slide presentation showing our team in Mexico.

Local Missions

At the local level, West Park Church is involved with Angel Tree, Delanco Camp, and the Cornerstone Pregnancy Center.

Angel Tree is a ministry of prison fellowship.  This past Christmas, church members supplied gifts for children of prison inmates in the Southern New Jersey area.  If you wish to be part of this project through our church, please contact the church office at (856) 451-6363 or use  WParkUMC@mindpring.com to send us an E-mail.

If your church would like to be a part of this ministry, call Prison Fellowship Ministries at (732) 940-0600.

We support with our prayers and monetary gifts the Delanco Camp Meeting in Delanco, NJ.  Information about that camp can be obtained from the Rev. David Strope at (856) 451-6363.  We also support the Cornerstone Pregnancy Center located at 17 E. Commerce Street, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.  They can be reached at (856) 453-0030.

Handi*Vangelism
