The Bridgeton Chapter of the American Association of Retired People (AARP) #1133 meets at West Park Church the second Thursday each month except in July and August.

Most meetings start at 1 p.m. and include refreshments. There are a couple of covered dish lunches each year.

All are welcome!  You do not need to be a West Park or an AARP member to join in on the fellowship.

The chapter also joins in the AARP day of service be providing bingo and prizes at Cumberland Manor.  Annual dues are $3, plus membership in the national AARP.

Senior Exercise

Senior exercise is one of the church's newest activities.  Older adults are invited to meet every Saturday at 9 a.m. for light aerobics.  The activity is mostly walking in place along with a few other exercises while the participants listen to a taped recording.

Another project of the Older Adults Ministry is collecting used magazines and distributing them to area nursing homes to provide reading material to residents there.
